At the European Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology (CIRSE) Congress, the 23rd Prestige Conference held annually in memory of German scientist Andreas Gruentzig was given by Haccetepe University Faculty of Medicine Radiology Department lecturer Prof. Dr. Okan Akhan. Dr. Akhan has been the first scientist from Turkey to be invited to the Prestige Conference, where scientists with outstanding and original contributions to the world literature in the field of Interventional Radiology have been invited since 1994.
