STL is ready for the 2025-2026 Spring Semester

The Center for Sustainable Teaching and Learning brings evidence-based, inclusive, sustainable learning and teaching practices to Hacettepe University through its activities. The Center reached 210 faculty members and 2,161 students through its activities in the past term. Seminars organized by the Center covered topics such as Instructional Gamification, Education in the Age of Generative and Agentic Artificial Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence Avatar Videos: Pedagogical Effects and Applications, Entrepreneurship for Everyone, and The Replication Crisis in Social Sciences and Education Research: Problems and Solutions.

The Academic Orientation program was completed with 55 newly appointed research assistants. A Course Design Workshop was held with faculty members from the Industrial Engineering and Finance Departments.

The goal for the Spring Semester is to reach 2,300 students.

STL continues to contribute to education by planning Basic Educator Competency Training, Technology Mentorship Program, Teaching Observation, Course Design Workshop, Academic Development, Innovative Teaching Shares, Graduate Talks, Life Skills Seminars, Thematic Workshops, and the Academic Peer Support Program. Over 100 meetings are planned for these programs, with the goal of reaching 300 faculty members and 2,300 students.
