The Hacettepe Career Fair was organized by Hacettepe University Career Development Application and Research Center with the contribution of 7 student communities.
The 14th Hacettepe Career Fair was held on February 27–28, 2025, at the Beytepe Tunçalp Özgen Congress and Culture Center.
Within the scope of the fair, 196 institutions and organizations came together with 15,451 participants. The participation of stakeholders from a wide range of fields—from public institutions to non-governmental organizations, research centers to Technopark companies, and international organizations—increased the richness and impact of the fair.
Employment and internship opportunities were offered to university students and graduates coming from Ankara and other cities 23.3% of the visitors participated from different universities and cities. During the fair, 7 main hall sessions and 23 workshops were organized, providing participants access to diverse content contributing to their career planning processes.
In her opening speech, Hacettepe University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sibel Aksu Yıldırım thanked all students, Career Center staff, Hacettepe University Vice Rectors, Hacettepe Technopark management, the General Secretariat, and all university units that contributed at every stage of the organization, especially the visitors and companies that made the fair possible.
Hacettepe University Career Center Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammet Serhat Öztürk stated in his speech: “This valuable event, which has grown through the common mind and cooperation of our university, continues to be one of the most concrete examples of the career vision that Hacettepe University offers to its students and graduates.”
Based on the feedback received after the event, the Hacettepe University Career Development Application and Research Center stated that corporate representatives who attended the event expressed their satisfaction with the professionalism of the organization and the quality of the participant profile. The Center's staff also stated that participants were satisfied with the event and that the 15th edition of the fair will be organized next year, continuing to grow and improve.
