The University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP), released the 2023 World Ranking Press Release of Turkish universities' standings on July 2, 2024.
The report was based on 11 world rankings. According to the report, the analysis results of Turkish universities that ranked among the top 500 universities in these rankings were included.

Hacettepe University was included in all 11 world rankings examined by URAP.
In the LEIDEN ranking, it ranked 410th, successfully making it into the top 500. The LEIDEN Ranking is important because it uses academic publication databases as its data source. From this perspective, Hacettepe University's position at 410th indicates that it achieved significant success in academic publications and citations in 2023.
Another significant achievement of our university is its close positioning to the top 500 in various ranking organizations, being ranked 554th in the URAP World Ranking, 518th in WEBOMETRICS, and 554th in US NEWS & WORLD REPORT.
In the evaluation based on Research Universities, 23 Turkish universities with this status were analyzed. Hacettepe University succeeded in being one of the 7 universities that ranked among the top 500 in this analysis.
