Our university continues its work in the areas of digital transformation and corporate data governance. In this context, the Digital Transformation Guide, Policy on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data and the Policy on the Retention and Disposal of Personal Data, prepared within this scope, entered into force with the Senate Decision dated 25.12.2025. These documents, which address our university's regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and digitalization processes with a holistic approach, aim to create a sustainable and secure digital ecosystem.
A guiding manual for all stakeholders involved in digital transformation
The Digital Transformation Guide aims to provide a common framework for digital transformation initiatives currently underway or planned in areas such as governance, education and training, research and development, and social contribution. The guide's core components include the digitization of institutional processes, treating data as a strategic asset, information security, data governance, a user-centered service approach, and sustainability principles.
The guide aims to develop a common language and understanding across the university, establish standards, and ensure that digital transformation activities are carried out with a holistic approach. It also serves as a guiding resource for all stakeholders involved in the digital transformation process.

A framework guiding the management of personal data
The published the Policy on the Protection and Processing of Personal Data and the Policy on the Retention and Disposal of Personal Data Document were prepared in line with the work carried out at our university under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). These policies aim to establish a framework that guides institutional practices by defining the basic principles, procedures, and responsibilities regarding the lawful processing, protection, storage, and destruction of personal data processed within our university.
As part of our university's efforts in the areas of digital transformation and corporate data governance, a KVKK Compliance Report has also been published. Prepared to reveal the current status in the KVKK compliance process and to comprehensively evaluate the activities carried out, the report addresses topics such as current status analysis, data processing activities, systemic and technical measures, and awareness, with the goal of adopting a sustainable governance approach to the protection of personal data.
