The 8th Pharmaceutical Development Days, organized by the Pharmaceutical Development Society, were held at Hacettepe University. The event, which took place at the Tunçalp Özgen Congress and Culture Center on Hacettepe University’s Beytepe Campus, welcomed over 800 participants. The event was in high demand, particularly among Hacettepe University students as well as many pharmacy students from Ankara and surrounding provinces.

The conference program began with opening remarks by Prof. Dr. Mutlu Aytemir, Dean of the Hacettepe University Faculty of Pharmacy; Ecz. Ahmet ÇakanGeneral Secretary of the Ankara Chamber of Pharmacists; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçen Telli, Academic Advisor to the Pharmaceutical Development Society; and İlke Liman, President of the Pharmaceutical Development Society. A musical performance followed the opening remarks.
As part of the conference, 13 sessions addressing science, innovation, and entrepreneurship were held, alongside 11 workshops focusing on themes such as dermocosmetics, perfumery, mindfulness techniques, and yoga with aromatherapy, which ran concurrently with the sessions.
Numerous activities took place in the lobby area
Throughout the conference, the lobby area hosted awareness booths, games, and photo corners set up by the Hacettepe University Young TEMA Society and the Leukemia Children’s Health and Education Foundation. Additionally, a poster presentation competition—featuring university students from various departments and awarding prizes to the top three participants—was held in the lobby area.
As part of the conference, the booths in the lobby aimed to bring participants and companies together to facilitate direct communication and ensure the exchange of accurate information.
