The most famous Phrygian King, who lived between 738 BC and 696 BC, and was the subject of many mythological stories, including the Ancient Greek and Roman Mythologies that shaped world literature; King Midas, known as Mushkili Mita to the Assyrians; It was reinterpreted with the Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts International King Midas Gordion event. The stories of King Midas, who turned everything he touched into gold and was famous for having donkey ears, were exhibited at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations within the scope of the Capital Culture Road Festival, with 2D and 3D products and described as a 21st Century sculpture, as well as digital games, animation and fantasy film industry. New works were developed within the scope of ARTOYS, which shapes many cultural products. Phrygian culture, which existed in Anatolia until the ancient Roman period, was redesigned for the 21st century culture by distinguished national and international invited artists.
The exhibition, opened by National and International Invited Artists on September 16, 2023, about the legendary king of Gordion Ancient City, Midas, and the Phrygian culture, can be viewed free of charge at the Capital Anatolian Civilizations Museum.
